I toss marbles with Paint on my paper and see what appears. Line work is very relaxing for me. I can spend hours just looking for something within the lines. This piece took me to a number of trees tangled by wires.

Artist's Statement:

I have always loved art.  Different mediums, and learning new styles and techniques just makes me happy.  I retired in 2013  and met a group of wonderful people who wanted to take a trip and paint at the same time.  We went to France and I found my new retired self enjoying all things art.  Pen and Ink, Watercolor, Acrylics, Collage, Mixed Media, some Oils and Plein Air painting.  I am a member of the Springfield Art Guild in VA, and I am also a member of Crossroads Art Gallery.
