Ember Flight

30 x 30”

Oil on Gallery Wrapped Canvas

$1800

My intention for this painting was to take an iconic image of a Wood Duck in flight and take the viewer into a surrealist exploration of light, color, and movement. I wanted to create drama along with a feeling of warmth (like the feeling one has when sitting before a glowing, welcoming fire)!
