This piece captures the adrenaline and energy that fuel the final moments of a race: pushing the car past its limits, making split-second decisions, and keeping one's eyes on the prize. These decisions are what make up the line between winning and losing.

Artist's Statement:

Growing up in a modern, geometric, black and white atmosphere, I’ve always been drawn towards color and any media that brings energy to my life. For me, that looks like tons of Studio Ghibli films and maximalism on steroids. And when I create art, I want it to exude those exact same qualities, and ignite a fire in viewers that’s hard to find in an increasingly stoic world. I long to create new worlds and perspectives through my art, bringing people in with unconventional yet relatable stories that make a splash of color in this place we call home.
