This traditionally styled painting is 3rd in a series of vintage girls with tattoos holding a cat while incorporating a technological element -- in this case -- headphones. There are many contradictory elements that invite the viewer to question what time period she is from --past or present?

Artist's Statement:

Art is about nourishment. It feeds the soul. From the start of each painting, I strive to capture the essence of the subject through a process of discovery. I combine curiosity, analysis, intuition and meditation. Compelling paintings are founded on the synergy of the artist's work flow -- eye, brain, heart and hand.
