This piece is an organic assemblage of found materials, shaped into a fairy house of story and light. Driftwood, shells, and a cork trivet sculpt the form; buttons, bobbles, and a discarded necklace craft narrative. Moss and lichen soften texture, while mica and quartz sparkle, inviting wonder.

Artist Statement:

My work explores the quiet moment where movement becomes stillness. Across fluid media and found materials, I guide process without force, allowing form to emerge rather than imposing it. Each piece records an unrepeatable event — a convergence of timing, texture, and restraint. Whether through ink, layered paper, or assembled remnants, I am interested in how materials behave when given space to respond. Mounted or constructed as objects, the work invites viewers to slow down, notice subtle shifts in surface and light, and experience presence in a tangible way. My practice is rooted in curiosity and surrender, honoring the beauty that appears when I stop trying to perfect and simply allow.
