Victoria Primicias

Artist Statement

Victoria Primicias creates quiet yet dynamic spaces, infusing them with energy, beauty, and intention. A recovering perfectionist, she possesses a keen eye for detail and order, traits evident even in childhood when she meticulously colored inside the lines. Yet, growing up in a bustling household, she also developed an innate comfort with chaos, a duality that resonates throughout her work.

Upon closer examination, what may initially seem random reveals an underlying structure and intentionality. Primicias expertly balances careful planning with spontaneous expression through lines and shapes, while her abundant use of negative space adds tension and intrigue, inviting viewers to engage deeply with her compositions.

Her art embraces imperfection, radiating a distinctive vitality and complexity. She strives to create work that captivates and stimulates, encouraging viewers to appreciate the beauty found within life's spontaneous moments.
