Hādhihi Ni‘mah — When Breaking Becomes a Blessing

60 x 48 x 1.5"

Acrylic and Mixed Media on Canvas

$2400

Inspired by the idea that breaking can become a blessing, this work explores hardship through a spiritual lens. Stones, roots, new growth, and layered words trace a journey from emotional burden toward meaning, showing how difficult experiences can become part of growth.

Artist's Statement:

My work explores human experiences through the intersection of contemporary abstract art, Islamic spirituality, and ideas drawn from psychology and research. I am interested in emotions, perception, relationships, healing, and the ways people make meaning from their experiences.Working primarily with acrylic and mixed media, I use layered texture, symbolic imagery, Arabic calligraphy, Qur’anic text, and metallic elements to give visual form to experiences that are often internal or difficult to express. Islamic teachings are not simply decorative elements in my work; they provide a lens through which I explore universal human experiences.Through my work, I hope to create space for reflection and invite viewers to pause, look inward, and consider their own experiences from another perspective.
