This peaceful moment was captured on the Nansemond River. I grew up in that area and it always gives me a sense of calm and serenity to be near the water.

Artist's Statement:

I enjoy playing with color in the natural environment. I seek to create works that capture moments of joy and serenity while imparting a level of liveliness that is comfortable to live with on a daily basis.
