This original, signed artwork was created using a special set of Sharpie markers that John received from an executive at Sharpie-manufacturer Newell Brands, as a gift for John’s autistic granddaughter, along with the suggestion that she use the markers on black paper. (The Newell Brands executive has an autistic child.) After seeing the results, John borrowed the markers to make this and other artworks. This artwork comes housed in a free-standing, inch-thick, magnetic-locking Lucite frame. John donates 100% of his proceeds from this and his other Sharpie artworks to the Autism Society of Central Virginia.
