Striper from the Upper Westside
5” x 8”
Archival print on acid-free paper
This exquisitely produced print’s remarkable color fidelity and extra fine detail result from one of the nation’s few TTI Digital Repropgraphics Workstations with Phase One’s FX scanning with resolutions up to 10,500 x 12,600 pixels – the system used by the U.S. Library of Congress. The subject of the print is the original watercolor painting of the artist’s first painting of a fish – a small striper that he caught from the shoreline of the Hudson River in New York City while he was a graduate art student at the City College of New York. The original painting was featured in a solo exhibition at Times Square’s Empire Savings Bank.
(All financial proceeds that the artist receives are donated for autism research, education, and service.)
