So I do love thrift stores. There I was, getting into my car at the Goodwill on West Broad. I glanced up, and saw the most amazing reflection of a tree in the windows next door. I drew it, I photographed it, I painted it!

Artist's Statement:

Oh boy, artist statement sounds so formal! I will leave discovering a new technique or gimmick - or starting a new movement in art - to someone else. I just like to paint.

I’ve heard that you should have a goal or destination in mind before you start. Well, I like to notice things along the way, and follow what seems good.  Usually, I end up somewhere new! Maybe you are crazy for following someone who doesn’t know where they are going,, but you are welcome to come along with me on the journey!
