Artist Statement:

Designing this Multi-Media Activity Kit, A Night at the Opera, Olivia Meets AIDA, has been a blending of my personal interests, skills learned in my previous career in education, opportunities in parks and recreation, and current volunteer work offering arts/crafts to residents of managed care facilities through our Immagine' Community Art Outreach Program. In these moments, we bring the fun and creativity to older residents, often in a simpler format or activity than they may have been used in earlier years. This project has allowed me to play and bring all forms of art together to form a new world.  My company, Immagine’, was formed in 2012 and has grown to include family and friends who love to create images that highlight the beauty of the world around us. It is our goal to share these images from our drawings, paintings, photographs, and writings. We offer original art, stationery, print and canvas art, books, select custom gift items, and a variety of fair trade gifts and ornaments. We partner with Ten Thousand Villages, SERRV, and Global Creations to offer items made through fair trade practices in India, Vietnam, and Haiti.
