One might think of a Cemetery, and see only those departed. In death comes rebirth, and the contemplative energies that foster creativity and calmness. It is from this abstraction of overgrowth that I feel the splendor of nature: peering into a place that doesn't exist, but a feeling that does.

Addie is a Richmond-based artist with a focus on narrative imagery. Their work often explores themes of identity, connection, and a refusal to fit into the neat little boxes of societal norms.
