This scene is of Hardwick Park on the estate of Hardwick Hall in Derbyshire a place I have fond memories of and visit whenever I go back to England.

Artist Statement:

I am an English artist currently living in Virginia.I grew up in The Peak District in Derbyshire and many of my paintings reflect the English countryside.I paint in oil and watercolor and often using heavy impasto to capture the essence of the landscapes I love. I also paint as we travel extensively in Europe and the United States.
