This painting is of one of my favorite villages in Derbyshire Edensor within the Chatsworth Estate. It is beautiful at any time of year but absolutely perfect in Summer.

Artist Statement:

I am an English artist currently living in Virginia.I grew up in The Peak District in Derbyshire and many of my paintings reflect the English countryside.I paint in oil and watercolor and often using heavy impasto to capture the essence of the landscapes I love. I also paint as we travel extensively in Europe and the United States.
