This painting is of a little lane in the village I grew up in, I would walk or ride my bike here often.

Artist Statement:

I am an English artist currently living in Virginia.I grew up in The Peak District in Derbyshire and many of my paintings reflect the English countryside.I paint in oil and watercolor and often using heavy impasto to capture the essence of the landscapes I love. I also paint as we travel extensively in Europe and the United States.
