Laocoon

Oil on Canvas

This painting is one of an ongoing series of repurposing older paintings that I felt were not very successful when I first made them. Believe it or not, this painting started out as a representational version of the Greek statue Laocoon. I’m not sure that what I do to them makes them any better, but I think they do become more interesting.
