Artist's Statement:

Sarah K is the artist behind Make For Good, a small-batch studio devoted to quiet, intentional work across both clay and print. Her hand-built ceramics are formed from warm red and speckled brown stoneware and impressed, letter by letter, with words of blessing. These short meditations, drawn from her daily writing practice, are meant to offer grounding at the start of the day. Each piece invites a pause: to be held, to be read, to be used—to nourish both body and spirit.

Alongside her ceramics, Sarah creates hand-carved block prints inspired by personal libraries and the stories we keep close. Both her prints and ceramics are rooted in the power of words and the rituals of daily life. Make For Good reflects Sarah’s desire to create work that reaches both the individual and the wider community, with a portion of proceeds supporting local nonprofits.
