The Forest Sang of Home

The forest sang--in birdsong, and beams of morning light, in the hush of trees. Among the wild blueberries and branches, new life bursts forth in springtime. A quiet ballad of belonging, renewal, and return.
Artist's Statement:
I paint the places that make me feel the sense of home—sunlit paths through quiet woods, the hush of evening, the glow of light through a forest of trees. My inspiration comes from wandering beneath a cathedral of trees, where light dances and my soul listens.
Birds often appear in my work—messengers of melody and motion. I’m drawn to their freedom, their flight, and the way their songs lift the stillness of a place.
Through layers of mixed media and oils, I aim to create soulful, atmospheric landscapes that feel both earthly and otherworldly. My paintings are sanctuaries for the soul—places where light speaks, and wonder lingers.
