This was a challenge from a client who swam the English Channel to paint the White Cliffs of Dover. I wanted to portray the power and vastness of nature.

Artist Statement:

I get lost in the process of transforming an image from life or a reference photo to depict an emotion whether its the atmosphere in a coming storm or the intimacy of an interior. i really like the way light will play such an integral part.
