ST Johns Church in Richmond where Patrick Henry closed his speech to the Second Virginia Convention in 1775 with Give Me Liberty or Give Me Death. The title of this work is "Give Me Liberty and Coffee." The Daily Coffee Company truck as seen around town. My son and I seek it out on occasion. It's fun!
Artist's Statement:
I do hand painted bricks inspired by Richmond's Fan District houses and more. I like to tell stories with the bricks, a moment in time which may make one laugh or recall a memory. I have lived in Richmond most of my life, went to VCU, married and raised a family. This is my town, the work is to share that experience with others.
