Every artist knows the season. Commissions slow down. Sales dry up. The inspiration
that used to show up on schedule starts ghosting you. It's easy to spiral into
desperation, chase every gig regardless of fit, or grind yourself into burnout trying to
force momentum that isn't there.
If you can relate, join Tamisha Williams for a hands-on session designed to help
artists navigate down periods without losing themselves in the process. Using her
Abuntu framework, Tamisha will walk through how to stay aligned with your values,
pace yourself instead of panicking, and turn to your community instead of isolating
when work feels scarce.

Tamisha will lead a 2-hour workshop for Crossroads artists and other local artists on
navigating down periods as an artist.

Overall outcomes: Participants will learn how to…

• Recognize and sit with the harder emotions of a slow season (frustration, worry,
  anxiousness) instead of pushing them down
• Use their core values as a filter for decision-making instead of letting emotions
  rule their choices
  
• Reconnect with their artist community in ways that feel genuine, not
  transactional
  
• Build a realistic action plan sized to their capacity, not their guilt
