This painting is part of a series in which I explore the tension between our need for freedom and interdependence on one another. The globes or balloons represent separate entities floating freely while remaining loosely tethered to one another.

This painting is part of a series exploring the tension between our need for freedom and interdependence on one another. The globes appear to be separate entities operating under the illusion of floating freely, but, in reality, are connected and contained within an ever-changing, complex network.
