Big Ben rises proudly beyond a stone archway, its clock face gleaming against the London sky. The Thames flows quietly below, reflecting the soft light of dusk. To the right, Westminster Bridge stretches across the river, adding balance and depth to this classic London scene framed in timeless symmetry.

Artist's Statement:

I started my career as a photographer in the film era, where I was developing and printing my own images. I entered the realm of digital photography at an early stage and have transitioned my skills and knowledge to the digital format. I am an avid traveler and have explored the far reaches of all seven continents, searching for the perfect image. My main passion is landscape and travel photography, but I also enjoy taking environmental portraits while traveling. Dr. Martin Evans and I own and operate a photography business called Photodistinctions.com. I recently retired from my busy life as a surgeon and this now allows me to travel and focus more on my other passions in life. My images are on permanent display at several different business locations. I have also won multiple awards at local shows and have had displays at local art galleries and libraries. My portfolio will be on display again at the Richmond Main Library in October and November 2023. I strive to have my images express the same mood and emotion that I experienced at the time of image capture.
