Throughout my 20-print "Pendulum" series, I strive to create a sense of movement, weighted tension and appealing visuals by combing photography, pen & ink, chalk pastels and an image-over-image printing process.

Artist's Statement:

With a focus on photography and mixed-media printmaking, I have directed my most recent works toward combining the two disciplines. In addition to traditional fine art photography, I began exploring and further developing a print-making technique I refer to as Progressive Frame Imaging (PFI). In its simplest definition, PFI is a multi-layer, ink-over-ink print making process not dissimilar to that of lithography, wood block or silk-screen printing. With Progressive Frame Imaging, digital printers replace the ink transfer mediums of stone, wood or screen.
