Recovered found objects from the landfill can become a kaleidoscope of color and wonder. Each wedge is cut to fit its spoke section from a large sheet built specifically for this wheel. Layers of clear and color are added for depth and fired many times.

Artist's Statement:

My creative journey is fueled by mesmerizing geometry found in nature, especially the stunning vistas of the Shenandoah Mountains.   Color is my playground and I love experimenting with vibrant hues and light.  For me, art isn't about just what you see, it's about what you feel.  If color can make you vibrate an emotional state, then art has reached your heart.
