Alcohol Ink on Ceramic Tile, mounted on Stained Birch Panel
$225
This work captures a quiet moment, where space and restraint guide the process. I let the ink move freely, observing subtle shifts in tone and edge. Completion came not through complexity, but when it felt open, settled, and present.
Artist's Statement:
My work explores the quiet moment where movement becomes stillness.
Using alcohol ink on ceramic tile, I allow color to flow without force, guiding it only enough to reveal form rather than control it. Each piece captures a single, unrepeatable event — a record of breath, timing, and surrender.
Mounted on natural wood, the tiles become objects rather than images, inviting the viewer to slow down, notice subtle shifts in light, and experience presence in a tangible way. My practice is rooted in curiosity and restraint, honoring the beauty that emerges when I stop trying to perfect and simply allow.
