Many years ago, I immigrated to the United States, a country founded on the ideals of freedom and democracy. But today I feel a deep awareness of how fragile those ideals can be. Each and everyone in this country carries responsibility in preserving those ideals, embedded in the constitution.

Artist's Statement:

I paint in my signature style of textured squares that are not only structured, but also hold a deeper meaning. The artwork may be enjoyed from afar, but will reveal hidden features once seen from close up. If those concealed attributes are discovered, the whole meaning of the painting might be understood.
