"Highway to Heaven" is an original 6 x 6 oil on panel by Elizabeth Lee. She grew up in the Roanoke Valley surrounded by mountains. When coming home from dental school to visit family, with just 30 miles to go, she'd round the corner and be surrounded by mountains knowing home was just about 30 minutes away. The painting is reminiscent of that last stretch of the road she deemed ... "Highway to Heaven."
