Ashford on the Water is a little hamlet near Bakewell Derbyshire.It has a beautiful ancient bridge under which the river Wye runs.

Artist Statement:

I am an English artist currently living in Virginia.I grew up in The Peak District in Derbyshire and many of my paintings reflect the English countryside.I paint in oil and watercolor and often using heavy impasto to capture the essence of the landscapes I love. I also paint as we travel extensively in Europe and the United States.
