Judith Anderson

Over the past several years, Anderson’s oil painting has followed several strains: trains, plein air, and most recently, abstraction.  She is attracted to complex surfaces, textures, and geometrics.  One can see this in her choice of train subjects, her plein air work (rusty cars and trucks, barn geometry), and also in the abstracts, which include collage elements and naturalistic images.
