Leah McClure

Leah Michelle McClure is an American born writer. She is the author of three
novels to date, And a House with a White Picket Fence, Rage and Innocence and
Fatal Reversal. Her unpublished works include children’s books, short stories and
plays that she has written throughout her life.
Leah has always preferred to write rather than read, so her unique style is purely
her own and not influenced by other writers. She describes her life experience as
being “enriched with an equal amount of challenges and blessings,” many of which
inform her writing. By combining her keen story-telling ability and intimate
understanding of her own adversities, she weaves tales with cross-over appeal that
engage readers in the characters’ hardships, abuse, and everyday challenges.
McClure spent the first 20 years of her life in Connecticut. As an adult, she had the
pleasure of living in several other states, including Virginia, Tennessee,
Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, New York and most recently Vermont. However,
none of these places have discouraged her love of the New York Yankees and the
Dallas Cowboys.
Her passions, in addition to her family, include 80s movies, ballroom dancing (and
watching others dance), scenic car rides, a nicely marbled ribeye steak, the winter
season, world history, and binge-watching documentaries.
