On a recent Honor Flight trip to Washington DC, I had the privilege of accompanying 100-year-old Andre Maisonpierre to the Battle of the Bulge inscription at the WWII Memorial. Andre fought in that battle and wanted to honor his fallen brothers by placing a white rose in remembrance of their service & sacrifice; ensuring the freedoms we enjoy today.

Karen Taylor Davis seeks to capture life’s special moments and preserve those memories with her camera.
When shooting a portrait, it’s an emotional moment of connection. She preserves the excitement of special events with the tales she tells in her images. While enjoying nature, Karen’s photos reflect the various moods of her surroundings. Even inanimate objects share their own – or their owners’ – stories.
Karen’s goal is to inspire those who see her work to look more closely at those moments frozen in time and discover the hidden stories.
