I was drawn to a Turkish Light shop on a street in Key West Fla. The glow was mesmerizing. I took a few pics with my phone. Once home the real thinking part begins. Could I make these into a painting. I used several of my photos moving the lantern’s around in small thumbnail value studies. I worked a series of these and the birds were developed in the second painting ”Flight Pattern’s.” The drawing was the real challenge but my theory is if I can draw it I can paint it! I used transparent watercolor and some additional glazes with Dr. P.H.Martin liquid watercolors
