A playful tribute to Alaska's adorable penguins, this piece captures their wadding charm and cosy togetherness. Inspired by their abundance and irresistible cuteness, the painting celebrates the joy, warmth, and whimsy of these delightful creatures in their icy home.

Artist's Statement:

My education has been unconventional, yet I believe it is all directed by God. Inspired by my travels as a former flight attendant, I long to recreate the places I visited and capture the human spirit though portraiture.  Initially influenced by the Mona Lisa when I visited the Louvre in Paris, the focus of my art is plein air of historical sites and wedding venues and portraits of people, homes and pets using a variety of mediums such as oil pastels, oils, pastels, acrylic, watercolor and charcoal.  I have done over 2,000 commissioned to date and have work in 13 museums.  I have taught wc on cruise ships around the world and in the women's prison.
