Artist's Statement:

Inspired by the idea of nature photography for conservation in the tradition of Ansel Adams and Sebastião Salgado (Genesis), my work is black and white nature and landscape fine art photography, focused on spontaneous composition with stark otherworldly contrast and textures. The photographs argue for conservation on a global scale, by capturing and communicating a small portion of the awe in nature, eliciting reverence for it in our distracted modern lives.
