Fine strips of glass carefully placed to evoke a houndstooth pattern, perhaps. Fired flat and then a second firing into a ceramic mold for depth.

Artist's Statement:

My creative journey is fueled by mesmerizing geometry found in nature, especially the stunning vistas of the Shenandoah Mountains.   Color is my playground and I love experimenting with vibrant hues and light.  For me, art isn't about just what you see, it's about what you feel.  If color can make you vibrate an emotional state, then art has reached your heart.
