My love of architectural and dimensional art inspired this set of 3 hand painted bourbon barrel staves sourced from Hardywood Brewing in RVA. As a trained decorative painter, the use of pattern and color are always present and an important aspect of my work.

Artist Statement:

Diane's whisky/beer barrel staves are inspired by her love of architectural art pieces. The artistically applied layering of pattern and color are displayed in the presentation of the single staves and sets. The barrels are sourced from local RVA breweries once they finish aging the beer in the bourbon barrels.
