Logan MacKethan is a self-taught artist from Charlottesville, VA. As a native Washingtonian, her arts training began at the Corcoran School of Art in photography. She has holds a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from Northwestern University and has been painting in oil and acrylic for the past 8 years. As a visual artist, Logan has participated in numerous workshops and residencies, most recently at the Beverly Street School in Staunton, Virginia. She has been exhibited at the Second Street Gallery, the Darden Business School at UVA as well as the Workroom Cooperative Gallery in Washington D.C.. Last fall she was juried into the Crossroads Art Center in Richmond, Virginia and has recently been accepted as an Associate Member in the McGuffey Art Center, Charlottesville. Her work will be featured in the new member show at McGuffey Art Center as well as in a 2-person show at the Staunton Augusta Art Center, Staunton, Virginia next January, 2021. Logan’s work is held in many private and public collections in San Francisco, Texas, South Carolina, Newport, Washington D.C. and Virginia.
