"Surf Riding" depicts the powerful force of ocean waves and tidal changes. There is a magnificent rolling surf that has a deep underwater current plus delicate and sometimes forceful sprays of water. All of this at the same moment while also grabbing objects in its path and taking them for a ride under, through and above the waters path.

Artist's Statement:

“Creative License” best describes my unique always evolving art journey. My multi-media approach unveils creative expression created intuitively and abstractly with suggestions of realism in one medium or many.  The stories and visualizations have meaning, narrative and draw a variety of responses. Color, line, shape, and texture formulate and support strong design. My subjects are derived from life experiences, thoughts, interactions and observations. I work daily embracing the journey my processes create.  My multifaceted art is powerful and expressive, pleasing my collectors. I work from my multiple home studios on Lake Gaston in North Carolina.
