“Pink Moon” was painted to honor one of the last songs recorded by British artist Nick Drake. Nick’s personal struggle with peace was very complex, but always hopeful. The color “pink” is the background for his struggle, and the swirls of color represent the complexities of his thoughts.

Artist's Statement:

I work primarily in oil, or acrylic/mixed media. I am a self taught artist and have been painting professionally since 1993 and specialize in portraiture, wildlife, dogs, and abstract art.
